Condolence: Dear Scott & family,

My deepest condolences on the passing of Al.

While I was working at North Superior Publishing Inc., Al always semed to know just how to brighten my day. I could have just missed a big sale, or perhaps been down about something, but Al could always cheer me up just by walking in the office and reminding me that there will be something else to look forward to, and something else to be excited about. He always had that twinkle in his eye that let you know that he cared about you, and that he was looking forward to life's next adventure.

I am pleased that I had the opportunity to know and work with Al, and I will miss bumping into him at media conferences and such.

I am sorry that I couldn't attend the funeral, but my Grandfather, Harry Hurtig, passed away on Jan. 6, and I still had family in town on Monday.

I still live in Manitouwadge and often think of both you and your husband each time I pass by your old house. Your friendship with me during that time will never be forgotten. I hope that you will find peace from your family and friends. I recall you often spoke of your dad and it always seemed to me that you had a great relationship with him.
