Obituary for Murray Alvin Jacomb

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Murray Alvin Jacomb on Thursday, Oct. 19 in Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre with his family at his side.


Murray was born August 6, 1950 to parents Alvin and Sophie. He is survived by his loving wife Barb of 39 years, his daughter Crystal, along with his furry friend “Bear”. His son Tommy predeceased him in 2016. He was also predeceased by his parents and his sister Judy Erickson.


He will be missed by his siblings, Clyde (Joanne), Bonnie (Gordon), Lyle (Anne), Lloyd, Marilyn and Rodney, as well as in laws Dave (Shirley), Ann (Bill), as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.


A life long resident of Thunder Bay, he had a passion for fishing and was a true fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs. He could often be seen at Tim Hortons and spotted around town on his scooter.


A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, October 25 at 11:00 am in Bethlehem Christian Reformed Church, 75 Walkover Street, Thunder Bay. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Simpler Times Cremation Centre, 332 N. May St, Thunder Bay, ON.
