Condolence: My deepest condolences to Al's family. I was so very shocked to hear of his passing. I had the pleasure to work with Al here at the George Jeffrey Children's Centre where he would bring life and laughter wherever he was. When he retired and then came back to help out, he told me that the reason he agreed to come back part time was because we felt like family to him.....well the feeling was mutual that's for sure!! He loved interacting with the children around the Centre and occasionally one or two kids would follow him around and help him with his work which he loved. I will always remember Al with his contagious laughter and that big smile of his. At the end of my day I looked forward to his many jokes and I will miss him saying to me on my way out..... "Have a great night young lady".
Your presence will truly be missed by many. May you rest in peace Al.

Condolence: My deepest condolences to the Huntrods family and friends on the passing of Al. I worked at AGS for 30+ years and many of those years I spent with Al. Al worked in Shipping and I in Customer Service. He always had a smile on his face and managed to make me laugh with his jokes! I noticed one of pictures posted with Al on his lift truck and the guy to his side (with the ball cap) was my brother - Brian Manuel. Brian also worked with Al for 20+ years and had many stories to tell me of the "antics" they would get into on the nightshift. Al will be dearly missed - his smile and our wonderful memories will live on in all his AGS Family. GODSPEED AL!

Condolence: Dear Dorothy, Tracy and Kyle:
So sorry for your loss. please know we are here for you and are thinking about you. Al was quite the character, as shown in one of your photos. I will always remember him grabbing my knees and your mom giving him proper heck. Also, memories of him ordering chinese food when I would stay at your place.
Lots of love being sent your way,
Tammy and Aarne

Claudia Ghandi said, “If I had a single flower for every time I think about you, I could walk forever in my garden”. As my oldest and dearest friend, this rings true. I was so sorry to hear this news, especially after our conversation the day before. Please know that while this time may be difficult and trying, we love you and I will make myself available to you day or night. Hugs my friend.
