Obituary for Mrs. Barbara Ann Post (McLean)
BARBARA ANN POST
August 5, 1941 – September 7, 2023
Mrs. Barbara Ann Post, age 82 years, passed away peacefully in TBRHSC on Thursday, September 7, 2023 with family by her side.
Barb was born in Simcoe, Ontario on August 5, 1941. She came to Thunder Bay in 1965, working as Office Manager at Arnone Transport for over 25 years before retiring from Thunder Bay Electric.
Barb enjoyed spending her time watching boats at the Marina with a book in hand and a cup of tea. Many fun times were spent at the Bingo hall or baking for her family. Barb was a proud member of the Kiwanis Club of Westfort since 1988. During this time she was the first female President and served the community at various events. Barb was a kind soul and will be sadly missed by many.
Barb is survived by her children Debbie (Doug), Greg (Denise) and Tammy (Don). Grandchildren Amanda, Andrew, Pearl, Payton, Max, Nicole, Daniel and Cameron. Great-grandchildren Jordyn, Emmett and Violet. In addition, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by siblings Jack, Bill, Marg and parents Harriett and Roland Mclean.
Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at a later date. Should friends so desire, donations made in Barb's name to Our Kids Count would be greatly appreciated.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James.
