Obituary for Mr. Charles Wallace Anderson

We are sad to announce that Charles Wallace Anderson, 66, of Thunder Bay, Ontario, peacefully passed away on January 22, 2023, after a short, but difficult battle with cancer.

Charles was born on June 15, 1956 to Adelbert and Marie Anderson in France. At 18 months old his parents travelled overseas and settled on the East Coast in Nova Scotia and later in Saint John, New Brunswick.

Charles moved to Ontario in his early adulthood and worked in bush camps for many years. Charles was passionate about being an entrepreneur and owned and operated his own Amethyst mines in Thunder Bay.

At 21 years old Charles met the love of his life, Linda Harasym in Thunder Bay. They went on to have 3 children, Jonathan, Melissa and Ashley. Their children blessed them with 5 grandchildren, Maisy, Audrina, Benett, Nova and Lily.

Charles loved fishing, camping, gardening, listening to music, spending time with friends and enjoying a few cold beers.

Charles was predeceased by his father Adelbert Anderson, and mother Marie Anderson (Egloff). And is survived by his wife Linda Harasym, children Jonathan Harasym (Jaidyn), Melissa Thompson (Benhard) and Ashley Harasym (Bradley), grandchildren Maisy, Audrina, Benett, Nova and Lily, brother Danny Anderson and sister Wendy Anderson. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
