It is with broken hearts that we announce the sunset date of our loving husband, father, and grandfather, Dennis Vincent Magiskan, age 63 years, at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre in the early hours of Tuesday, January 24, 2023.
Dennis is survived by his wife of 37 years, Terri (Trudeau); daughters Denise, Katrina, Denita, Joanne, Sky, and Rhiannon; cherished one and only son Nimkee (Beth); and grandchildren Lyndon, Stormy, Paradise, Dean, Braelyn, Rosey, Debryn, Hendrix, Ezra, Athena, Apollo, and Marcella.
He was predeceased by his beloved brother, Patrick Magiskan; grandparents William Senior and Nora; parents Issac and Mary; and close school friends, Lorne Eshkawkogan and Randy Trudeau - who he held dear to his heart and never let their memory be forgotten.
We find comfort in knowing that Dennis will be reunited with his brother, parents, grandparents, and dearly missed school pals. Dennis always said that when he lost these people, a piece of him went with each of them.
Visitation for the late Dennis Magiskan will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2023 beginning at 1:00pm in the FAMILY HOME, 31 Pine Street, Aroland, Ontario. Funeral services will be held in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 11am with Diocesan of Service, Elder Marjorie Trudeau presiding. Interment will follow in Aroland Cemetery.
