Obituary for Mrs. Diane Elizabeth David (Arps)

DIANE DAVID

It is with profound sadness, the family of Diane Elizabeth David announces her
passing on November 28, 2022; at St Joe's Hospice surrounded by her family.

Diane was born to Herman & Sylvia Arps on December 18, 1951. Over the years
she became a devoted sister to 4 brothers & 1 sister. In 1972 she married the love
of her life Udo David, welcoming their son, Tyson in 1974 followed by their
daughter, Diana in 1976. As a family, they enjoyed summers at Arrow Lake
camping, fishing, sitting around the camp fire with friends and playing cards.
Diane also loved playing bingo when she got the chance.

In 2002, Diane was over joyed to welcome her first granddaughter, Brooklyn
following a few short weeks later by her second granddaughter Keirra. In 2004,
she finally got her grandson Colby. Diane loved her grandchildren immensely.
They were without a doubt her most favourite part of her life. She was extremely
proud of all 3 of them and was always bragging about them to who ever would
listen.

Diane is survived by her son Tyson (LeeAnn), daughter Diana (Cory), grandchildren
Brooklyn, Keirra, Colby. Brothers Herman (Linda), Arnold (Geri), Leonard
(Jennifer), & Roy and her sister Susan (Clifford). Numerous nieces & nephews, and
her special friends Terry, Heather and Tammy.

Diane is predeceased by her husband Udo, her father Herman, mother Sylvia,
mother-in-law Herta, father-in-law Hans, sister Linda Lou and niece Jessica.
A celebration of life will be held on December 18, 2022 at Rosslyn Community
Centre from 1-4pm; with tribute starting at 1:30.

A special Thank you to the ICU & Hospice doctors and nurses for taking such good
care of mom.
If friends so desire, donations to the Heart & Stroke would be greatly appreciated.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Simpler Times Cremation Centre, 575 Central Avenue, Thunder Bay.
