Mr. Larry Charles Northway, age 74 years, passed away peacefully in Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday, October 25, 2022
Larry was born on August 21, 1948 in Fort William, Ontario to Gerald and Kathleen Northway. He was educated locally and had a long career as a Special Education Teacher with the Lakehead Public School Board. Larry's passion was writing, and he was proud of the many novels that he completed and had published. He also had a love of dogs. Larry will be missed by all.
Larry is survived by his brother Terry and sister-in-law Wendy; granddaughter Angie and her parents Rhonda and Donald; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and Doreen's family.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Doreen (nee Kidder); his parents Gerald and Kathleen Northway as well as his grandson Donald Jr.
In accordance with Larry's wishes, cremation will take place and a private interment will be held in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Should friends so desire, donations made in memory of Larry to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation – Renal Unit would be greatly appreciated.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James.
