Obituary for Miss Shanarae Bedwash-Loon

Miss Shanarae Bedwash-Loon, AKA “Sugar-Rae”, age 22 years, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 22, 2022.
Shanarae was born in Thunder Bay on April 1, 2000, and was wise beyond her years. She had a passion for writing poetry, and she loved spending time with her family, especially her children. She enjoyed going for walks, and was always smiling – she lived life to the fullest.
Shanarae is survived by her children Arya and Deon; common-law-partner Alex Cordone; father Stanford Loon; sisters Sharaina, Shareena; brother Isaiah, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Predeceased by her mother, Sophia Coaster, and sister Shaurora; grandparents Francis and Lizzie Loon, and Lawrence and Flora Coaster.
Visitation will be held in the WESTFORT FUNERAL CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James on Thursday, August 4, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00pm. Interment will take place in Pinegrove Cemetery in Geraldton on Friday at 1:00pm.
