Our beloved Tatay Boy, Pedrito Badar, age 73 years, passed away suddenly but peacefully at home on Monday, July 18, 2022.
Pedrito was born in Manila, Philippines on October 11, 1948 and he was the youngest boy in his family, along with his 4 older brothers and 2 sisters. He worked in the construction field until moving to Canada in 2001, where he worked at Swiss Chalet.
Pedrito was a very joyful, kind, and caring man. He loved everyone and everything around him. He enjoyed watching TV especially horror movies and loved hanging out with his friends. He always knew how to put a smile on people's faces, and was never the type to get angry at anyone. He was a gentle soul and cared dearly for his family here in Thunder Bay as well as in the Philippines.
Pedrito is survived by his children, Rizza Mercado, Michelle Badar, Allan Badar, Dennis Badar and Janet Taca as well as his wife, Lilia Badar. He was also cared for by his grandchildren, Melizza Badar, Mark Mercado, Marvin Mercado, Acelee Badar and Matthew Badar as well as his nieces and nephews in the Philippines.
