DEBORAH FOURNIER
1952-2022

Mrs. Deborah (Debby) Lyn Fournier, age 69 years, passed away peacefully in Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Thursday, June 16, 2022 with her family by her side.

Debby was born in Fort William on August 19, 1952 to William and Audrey Liddicoat. She grew up in Westfort, attending Heath Park School and graduated from Westgate High. She started working at the Westfort Credit Union, before returning to school to earn her RNA Degree, working in healthcare until retiring from Revera Living (Pinewood Court). Debby met Wayne Fournier and they were married on July 8, 1972. She lived a life for her family, not missing any event to celebrate, but Christmas was her favourite time of the year.

Debby will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 50 years, Wayne; son Michael (Tammy) and grandson Camden; daughter Michelle (Derek) Heinz and granddaughters Celina, Elexis and Teigan. She is also survived by her sister Wendy (Alan) Wilson, brothers Gary (Debbie), Rick (Irene) and Brian (Cindy) Liddicoat; mother-in-law Jeanette Fournier; sisters-in-law Gail (Barry) McName, Judy (Glenn) Hilton, Linda (Dave) Pugh and brother-in-law Rob (Carolyn) Fournier as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was predeceased by her parents, William and Audrey (nee Stewart) Liddicoat and her father-in-law Clarence Fournier.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Debby's Life will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 4:30pm until 6:30pm in the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James. There will be an open microphone for any friends who wish to share memories or stories. A private family interment will take place in Mountainview Cemetery at a later date.

Should friends so desire, donations made in memory of Debby to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
