Obituary for Ms. Geraldine Rule
It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of our amazing Mom, Nonnie (Grandma), and Great Grandma, after her long battle with Dementia.
She was predeceased by her loving parents Frank and Antoinette; sister Marcy; brother Mel and grandson Randy Matchett.
She is survived by her children Gordon Rule, Greg Rule (Dina); Debbie Rule (Keith), Grant Rule (Heather), and Devida Matchett; as well as 13 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, whom she loved with her whole heart and soul. She is also survived by her brother Roy (Rose) Maronese; sister-in-law Marianne Maronese and many nieces and nephews.
Our Mom, family was her whole world.
Our Mom was only 16 years old when she went to hairdressing school in Toronto. She returned back to Thunder Bay and started working at the New Fashion. Not long after, she went on to marry John Rule and they started building their family, as well as continuing on with her career as a hairdresser, which she loved doing. She was and always will be the most amazing mom anyone could have ever asked for. She loved and cared for everyone she met. If you were a friend, you were MOST DEFINITELY thought of as family.
Mom, you are loved and always will be so deeply loved and missed by all.
