Mrs. Louise Gillis, age 62 years, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, November 12, 2021 with her loving family by her side.
Louise was born November 30, 1958 in Clericy, Quebec. Her passion was taking care of others, first her family, and her residents as a Personal Support Worker. She was a strong willed and private woman who loved spending time camping, fishing, listening to music, painting and drawing.
Survived by her husband, Doug; children Erica, Gabby, Stella-Maria and Luc; grandchildren, Evangeline, Vivienne, Axel, Carson and Bo; step-children Ashley, Ian and Brittany and mother in-law Anna. Also survived by her siblings, Lillian, Andre and Therese and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family as well as her beloved dog, Bijoux.
Predeceased by her parents, Adelard and Georgette Saindon; father in-law Rudy and siblings, Michael, Jean Guy and Jules.
Cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James. Donations in Louise's memory may be made to the TBRHF Renal Unit.
