Obituary for Miss Teresa Margaret Robinson
Teresa Margaret Robinson
May 28th, 1972 – August 14th, 2021
It is with sadness we announce the passing of our sister Teresa, age 49 years, peacefully in St. Joseph’s Care Group on Saturday, August 14th, 2021, with loved ones beside her.
Teresa was born in Parry Sound, Ontario. At the age of 4 her family moved to Nipigon, where she spent many happy childhood years. In her teens she moved to Thunder Bay. Teresa was a quiet, private individual who enjoyed watching movies, reading books and going to a job she loved. She was a long-time employee at Scandinavian Restaurant, and then relocated to Station Two the Scand Stop in 2017, where she enjoyed her time with her boss and co-workers. Teresa’s smile and laughter will be greatly missed by those whose lives she touched.
Teresa is survived by her brother, Terry (Dorothy) Robinson of Rainy River and two sisters, Jane (Andre) Lalonde and Joni (Sam) Potan, and by Leona Chaboyer of Nipigon. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
She was predeceased by parents Red Robinson and Marjorie MCCombe, and oldest sister Tracey (Wayne) Woodbeck.
Special Thanks to her Boss and good friend Shelley who was there to help support Teresa in her illness. And deep gratitude goes to the hospital staff for their care.
Cremation has taken place, there will be no service. Donations can be made to the Thunder Bay Cancer Society.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Westfort Chapel, 420 West Gore Street, Thunder Bay.
