Obituary for Mr. Denis George Baranuik

Denis George Baranuik
September 28, 1967 – July 15, 2021

Mr. Denis George Baranuik, age 53 years, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, July 15, 2021.

Denis was born in Fort William on September, 28, 1967. He worked for many companies across the country throughout the years as an operator (If it could be driven, he mastered it). Denis successfully accomplished Helicopter Training School and became a certified Pilot in 2009, however he returned to the position he favoured most as a bush hall truck driver.

Denis was an ambitious, energetic, all in fellow who dabbled in a little of everything. He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, and tinkering with anything that involved a motor, as well as traveling, and recently took up the art of lawn care.

Denis had an inner star that was very bright. He was a social bird who did everything to the max. He lived, loved, and played with everything he had in him. Denis made friends from coast to coast and was always willing to help someone in need. He also had an amazing compassion for animals.

Denis will be remembered for his daredevil thrill and crazy sense of humour. His ability to connect with people with sincere interest in their lives has meant he has also left behind a huge circle of friends.

Denis leaves behind his wife Carrie and daughters Bailey and Blair, his parents Russel and Josephine, his brother Rick and wife Tracey, his brother Greg and wife Terri, niece Angel, nephew Jesse and wife Amy, nephew Jordan and wife Selina, nephew Nick, as well as many other family and in-law family members that loved him dearly.

As per Denis’s wishes there will be no services. He would like everyone to send their own personal send off. He will be cremated and joined with his beloved dogs Jersey and Myla. If you wish to make a donation in honour of Denis, any Animal Charity would be fitting.
