Lillian - its always hard to know what to say to someone when they lose their loved one.
I remember Waino back when I was learning how to ride a bicycle. Waino and my father worked together for Comstock and they would ride share back and forth to work as we lived on the same block.
I would peddle around the block waiting for my father to get home as I hadn't mastered how to stop the bicycle without falling off.
One day my father was working overtime and Waino drove home by himself.
He knew I'd be riding around the block waiting for my father so he waited for me so he could help me off my bicycle.

That is a true measurement of a man and human being - I will never forget that.

On behalf of our staff and entire membership of the IBEW 402, I offer our truest condolences to you at this difficult time. If there is anything I can do, please just ask.

Dear Lilian, Lori, Jill & family ❤️ May your memories be the beautiful gifts that bless You with healing and fill you with peace. Waino and his family welcomed me and my mother in the most fantastic way when we came to visit from Sweden in 1974. Waino was my mother's cousin but they had only been seen once before. Since then we have kept in touch. We are happy that Waino and Lilian also visited us in Sweden. Funny things always happened when Waino was araound. He had a wonderful sense of humor and always joked. He is deeply missed and we will always remember him with warmth and joy. 💙🙏 Love Erja with family, Virpi & Toivo
