Obituary for Mr. Mike Alfonso Terlicher
TERLICHER
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our father Mike Alfonso Terlicher, age 59 on January 16, 2021. Mike was born on August 2, 1961 in Port Arthur, ON to Anita and Mario Terlicher.
Mike was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and mushroom picking with family and friends. He was also an extraordinary pastry chef, and those close to him were able to enjoy tasting his delicious cakes, pastries, and breads.
We will miss our dad’s unique sense of humour the most. He had a knack for lightening the mood and making people laugh. His company will dearly be missed.
Mike leaves behind his mother, Anita Terlicher; son, Adam (Cydney); and daughter Ashlee (Rob); grandchildren, Scarlett and Layne; sister, Elizabeth (James) Koprich; niece, Chiara; nephew, Jacob; Aunt Bruna in Italy, as well as his cousins, and extended family.
Mike is predeceased by his father Mario; uncles Alfonso, Diego, Giuseppe, and Vincenzo; aunts, Alide, Irma, and Lucina; and his grandparents Maria and Carlo Terlicher, and Ludovico and Basilia Barbetti.
Thank you to the staff on 3A who took care of our dad during his illness, as well as Dr. Osman and the hospitalist team at the TBRHSC.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
