Obituary

Melva Suga (Barton)
August 6, 1947- April 4, 2020

Melva Suga passed away Saturday, April 4, 2020 at Southbridge Roseview.

She was raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario. In 1967 Melva graduated as an RNA and worked a number of years at
Port Arthur General Hospital, she was a sociable person who loved to dance and tell jokes, even off colored ones. Melva has two sons which she loved very much, she also loved her furry family, Freckles spent many lonely hours with her and was her best friend.

Predeceased by parents Mel and Jean Barton, husband Bob Suga, niece Roxina Bradford, brother Eddie Barton,
sister Beverly Johnson, sister June Saari.

Survived by her sons Dan Martinson (Denise), Ryan (Christy and family), grandson Kaden,brother Wilson Barton and sister-in-law Diane Barton.

Cremation has taken place, funeral to be held at Hilldale Lutheran Church to be followed by intermet at Sunset
Memorial Gardens at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Simpler Times Cremation Centre, 332 North May Street, Thunder Bay.
