Larry was born on May 3, 1955 in Atikokan to Mary and Joseph Danco. He was one of 11 siblings! Larry had a huge heart and his generosity was commendable. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, biking walking and spending time in the outdoors. In his younger years he kept busy with his passion for soccer and hockey. He was great with people, especially children. His nieces and nephews were his world. He enjoyed going to church and his faith was very strong. He was a rock for his mother, helping her out in every way he could.

He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends

Larry is survived by his mother Mary; brothers Bob (Darlene), Danny (Bernadette), Rick and Terry (Joanne); and sisters Mary (Keith), Cyndy (Doug), Debbie (Peter), Lori (Magde) and Susie (Mitch). Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.

He was predeceased by his father Joseph; brother Joseph; nephews Andrew and Derrick; and sister-in-law Sandra.

Larry meant more to us than simple words could ever express. He was one in a million. We’ll always look up to him for the kindness, patience and love he showed. He was the type of man who would listen and not judge or condemn. We’ll never forget all the talks, adventures, tears and laughs we shared. He’d get right down on the floor to play with the kids when they were little and give them his undivided attention. He was game to do anything, and enjoy it, from walking through the bush trails to sitting at the kitchen table talking with us for hours. Larry gave so much of himself and asked for nothing in return - he was completely selfless. He was an incredible human being and will be greatly missed. I’m also overwhelmingly grateful for all the time he spent with our Mom and how thoughtful he was with her. She will miss him deeply. We love you Larry! —Susie, Michel and Karli
