The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Mr. Jason Calder can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

John Chimbakis

I remember the day my brother and I met Jason. It was the beginning of a rich and beautiful childhood. Jason was always very generous and sharing with a good heart to everyone; reflective of his loving mother and father, who welcomed all the children in the neighborhood. Truly, very special and generous people. So many fond memories growing up with Jason. From the magical times being a kid, filled with so many experiences, shared by everyone that was part of that group of friends growing up and playing together in the neighborhood, to being young adults staying out all hours of the night. As we grew older, and seeing less of one another, it was always like yesterday whenever we briefly met. It's with a heavy heart that I express my sincerest and deepest condolences to Jason's mother, Mrs. Valerie Calder, her grandchildren, and family. May God bless you all. You were a good man, Jason Calder. You had a beautiful smile and laughter. You will be missed by many. Have a good journey, brother.
