Mr. Darren O' Nabigon, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 in Thunder Bay. He was 36 years 10 months and 14 days old.

Darren was born in Geraldton, Ontario on March 10, 1980 and was the oldest child born to Georgette (nee Charles) and Leslie O'Nabigon. Darren was a man of many trades and worked at various carpentry and masonry jobs to earn a living. He was a very talented artist, and enjoyed painting and drawing Native influences art. He also enjoyed cooking. Darren was a loving father to his 3 boys and 2 girls. He loved spending time with his children and family. He was always there whenever his parents needed him. Darren will be truly missed by all of his family and friends.

Darren is survived by his five children, Braiden (16), Dustin (15), Jonah (14), Alyssa (13) and Angel (9); his parents Leslie and Georgette; brothers Nathan (Karen), Cole (Michelle), Keenan and sister Carolyn; grandparents Roy Echum and Edna and Raymond Charles Sr.; nephews and nieces, Sa'che, Kingston, Kavyn, Nikotah and Kyler as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by his younger brother, Matthew; grandmother Genevieve; uncles Terrance, Clarence (Chinky) and Raymond Jr. (Beatle).

Funeral services for the late Mr. Darren O'Nabigon will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 with family and friends assembling in St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Mission Road for the Funeral Mass at 11:00AM celebrated by Father Larry Kroker, S.J. Visitation will be on Monday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the EVEREST FUNERAL CHAPEL, 299 Waverley Street at Algoma with the Vigil Prayers offered at 7:00 PM.
