Mr. Wasyl "Bill"  Nekuliak
Wasyl "Bill" William Nekuliak, age 79 passed away peacefully at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 with family by his side

Bill was born and raised in Danbury, Saskatchewan, where he met Violet. In 1956 they were married and started their family. Bill and Violet later moved to and settled in Thunder Bay where he worked for the Trans Canada Pipeline, retiring in 1995. Bill enjoyed spending his summers at their camp on Obonga Lake, fishing and hunting.

Bill is survived by his children Brad (Diane), Brenda (John) Suteu, Owen (Daniella) and Lynn (Richard) Perrier; grandchildren Nicole (Justin), Chelsea (Kalyn), Jeremy (Lindsay), Kerry Ann (Manuel), Christopher, Victoria (Shane), Erika, Alicha (Trevor) and Ricky; great grandchildren Quinton, Abygail, Deegan and Aurora.

Predeceased by his wife Violet Nekuliak.

The family would like to thank Dr. Laakso, Dr. Turner, Dr. Woods, the nurses on 2-North at St. Joseph's Hospital, especially Lindsay and Jessica. The family would also like to extend a special thanks to Nicole on 3C at TBRHSC for your kind and compassionate care. You truly went above and beyond the call of duty.

Funeral services for the late Mr. Bill Nekuliak will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 2:30pm in the EVEREST FUNERAL CHAPEL, 299 Waverley St. at Algoma. Interment will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Thunder Bay and District Humane Society would be greatly appreciated as Bill had a strong love for all animals.
