Mr. George Andrew Ostaff, age 67 years, passed away peacefully in St. Joseph's Hospice on Tuesday, August 16, 2016.

George is survived by his daughter, Sheena Ray (Stephen) and son Brian; grandchildren Sarah (Kyle), Hannah, Taven and William; great-granddaughter Haylee; sisters Frances Petch, Pat Maki and Maureen Rozon (Albert); nieces and nephews Karen, Kim (Chris), Matthew, Paul (Melissa), Bryan (Felicia) and Jason (Sarah) and great nephews Tyler, Christopher, Jacob and Shaun. He will also be missed by many lifelong friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, Sam and Anna Ostaff and his sister, Suzanne Gaudry.

The family would like to thank the many doctors and nurses, who were part of George's care in his final days in ICU, 2B at the Regional and St. Joseph's Hospice.

Funeral Services for the late Mr. George Ostaff will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 with family and friends gathering in Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, for the Funeral Mass at 11:00am, celebrated by Father Victor De Gagne. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm in the EVEREST FUNERAL CHAPEL, 299 Waverley Street at Algoma with Vigil Prayers offered at 7:00pm.

Should friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of George to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
