Kenneth George Ross
(1953-2018)

It is with sadness that the family of Kenneth (Kenny) George Ross announce his passing on November 10, 2018. Kenny passed away in the presence of his brother John and John’s friend Carol Roy at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Science Centre.

Kenny was born in Fort Frances, ON July 1, 1953. Except for a brief time in his early 20’s he was a lifelong resident of Atikokan. He had various jobs over the years, employed at Sapawe Lumber Mill, driving tax and working as a custodian to name a few.

Kenny was the youngest of 9 children and is survived by his siblings Jim Ross (Joan) Sault Ste. Marie, John Ross (Carol) Thunder Bay, Melvin Ross (Sue) Dryden, Rita Foshang (Sandy) Thunder Bay, Maxine Kraemer (Len) Calgary. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Sarah (Sadie) and Albert Ross, his brother Ernie Ross, sisters Jean Allard and Shirley Turner; as well as brothers-in-law Howard Foshang, Jerry Turner and Lorne Allard, and sister-in-law Janice Ross.

We would like to extend our gratitude to Dr. Boake, Dr. Anderson, Dr. North and the ICU and second floor Ward A nurses who cared for Kenny this past week.

Cremation has taken place and arrangements are pending for a later date. If so desired, a donation to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

The song is ended, but the melody lingers on…
