Condolence: We have had the privilege to have known Ray for over 55 years.Throughout these years his personality never wavered. Ray's life was well-lived. He made the world a better place by being committed to his family friends and through his volunteer work in hockey and to his church to name a few. Ray made many true friends along the way and shared good times and bad times with them. Always making time for others. Ray's love for Charlene of 47 years showed through for his care and devotion. His Pride and Joy were his beloved children Jeff and Lisa. Ray's Blessing of his Granddaughters Keegan and Emilia filled his heart with added Love. His treasured memories will live on through the generations. We will miss you our Dear Friend it was our blessing to have known you throughout these years. Rest in Peace. We pray comfort and Peace will embrace the family in the days ahead. Good Night our Friend Love Bev & Ed Koziej

Condolence: Charlene, Jeff and Lisa: A gentle kind soul has found his way to heaven and a pain free ever-after life. Why someone as courageous and loving as Ray should have suffered and left this earth too early will always seem unfair to me. May the void be filled with happy memories and the loss be eased by the sense of gratitude that he was in your lives. We had the gift of meeting you both on our honeymoon-where you were honeymooning as well. There was a higher power that made it so that we all married on the same day and met that day. We've been blessed with a wonderful family/friendship ever since. What a wonderful gift we were given. You will be missed forever Ray. My deepest loving condolences to you all.

Condolence: "Hey Habel! Get off the table! The dollar's for the beer!" This is the memory that comes to mind when I think of Ray Habel. I can hear him saying it and I can hear him laughing. Ray had a wonderful sense of humour and always had an interesting story to share. He was kind, real and helpful - always ready to lend a hand wherever he was needed. I spent many weekends with Ray at work and we shared many conversations together. He gave fatherly advice while being a friend and made work fun when it really shouldn't be... I feel privileged having worked with him at Everest and I am saddened knowing that I will never bump into this one of a kind man. My heartfelt sympathies to the entire Habel family for losing this key piece of your family. May your memories comfort you in the days ahead and may your hearts be lifted knowing that Ray was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.
