Ms. Elise Helene Bugera (nee Sabourin), age 77 years, passed away peacefully in St. Joseph's Hospital on Thursday, September 6, 2018.

Elise was born on March 15, 1941 in Sturgeon Falls, Ontario and came from a large and loving family. She worked hard all of her life and raised her four children with great pride. Elise had a fun and loving personality and was always busy traveling, playing cards, camping, cooking or spending time with family and friends.

Elise will be missed by her children Luc, Liette, Louise and Réal; grandchildren Jess (Soyun), Chantel, Danny, Raé Anne (Dustin) and Timothy; her great-grandson Logan, who she just met before passing; siblings Simone (Edgar), Rita, Edgar (Rita), Colette (Doug) and Louis (Alice) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. Elise also leaves behind her soulmate that she was blessed to have for the last 4 years, Grant Merkley.

She was predeceased by her parents Rosario and Beatrice Sabourin.

Elise's family wishes to thank Grant for all of his love and care. Thank you as well to the staff of St. Joseph's Hospital for their care and compassion during all of Mom's ups and downs in her health during her stay there.

Funeral Services for the late Ms. Elise Bugera will be held on Monday, September 10, 2018 at 10:30AM in the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James. Interment and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
