Mrs. Lois Smith (nee Cornfield) passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 5, 2018 in St. Joseph's Hospital.

Lois was born in Shelburne, Ontario in 1952 and was raised in Terrace Bay. She was trained in Thunder Bay as an R.N.A. Lois married Neil Edward Smith on July 21, 1973 in Terrace Bay. Together, they raised two boys Kyle and Warren, who she loved dearly. Lois loved playing tennis and golf and especially painting. She was a very gifted artist. Lois had a passion for her music as well as preparing and sharing meals. Lois spent 13 years wintering in Florida where she made many tennis friends and shuffleboard friends.

Lois is survived by her loving husband of 45 years Neil; two sons Kyle and Warren; two grandchildren Fisher and Sawyer; brother Jim (Karen) and sisters Joyce, Kerry, Brenda and Cathy (Derek). Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives as well as many friends also survive.

A Celebration of Lois' Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Simpler Times Cremation Centre, 332 North May Street, Thunder Bay.
