Mr. Donald Hamilton, passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2018.

Don was born in Fort William, and lived in the area all of his life. The family home was in Kakabeka Falls for many years. He owned and operated Thunder Bay Drapery for over 30 years, and also delivered rural mail on the south side of the city. His family, siamese cats, and camping were his main interests. Don very much enjoyed meeting people.

Don is survived by his daughters, Catharine (Paolo) Forno of Mount Albert, ON, and Marie (Justin) Cocks of Nipigon, ON and their mother, Mary; grandchildren Leah, Cooper, Parker and Claire; brother Jim (Pat); sister, Lynn (Fred) Boulter; good friend Daren Fellner and many cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was predeceased by his parents, Donald and Jessie Hamilton.

A Celebration of Don's life will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 11:00am in the Kakebeka Legion Branch #225. A private interment will take place at a later date in the family plot at Mountainview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Shelter House Thunder Bay or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Westfort Chapel, 420 West Gore Street at James.
