Obituary for Mrs. Ruby Irene Birch (Baxter)
It is with deep sadness that the family of Mrs. Ruby Irene Birch announces that she passed away peacefully Saturday, February 10, 2018 on her 90th birthday. She was a strong, independent and loving woman.
Ruby is survived by her son Derek (Pat) Wildbore; brother Erlene (Lois) Baxter; grandchildren, Ashley, Gavin, Sherry, Tammy, David, Kenny and Kelvin, as well as great-grandchildren and great, great-grandchildren. She will be missed by her companion “Huey”. She was predeceased by her parents, son David Wildbore, daughter Irene Wildbore and several siblings.
The family would like to thank the doctors and all the wonderful nurses for the great care in ER, our brief stay on 3A, ICU and finally 1A. We were treated with kindness, compassion and professionalism through this tough time. Also, a big thank you to Dr. Hartford and his staff for all the years of care given to Ruby.
A Celebration of Ruby's life will be held on Wednesday, February 14 at 3:00 pm in the home of her son Derek. Arrangements are entrusted to the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James.
We will miss you and you will forever be in our hearts. Love you!
