Obituary for Andre Abel Joseph Grenier

Andre Abel Joseph Grenier

Grenier, André Abel Joseph
Dec. 27, 1952- December 13, 2017

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of André Grenier, at the young age of 64, on December 13, 2017 @ St.Joe’s Palliative Care. Left to celebrate his life is his wife Suzanne Grenier, daughter Julie Grenier (Don), son Louis Grenier (Brenda), grandchildren Devin, Tristan, Madison, Rylan, Nolan and Kevin. André was the 15th child of 16. His parents Euzebe & Anita Grenier both deceased, siblings Peter (Jeanne (d)), Edmond(d), Roger(d) (Noreen(d)), Cyril (Estelle), Anita(d) (Eugene(d)), John(d) (Denise), Patricia(d), Simone (Charlie), Conrad (Irene), Malvina (Don(d)), Larry (Sue), Jeannine (Rejean), Carl (Joanne), Robert (Betty), Helene (Robert).
André was a class "A" mechanic. Most recently was part owner of A&S Harvesting; worked for Kimberly Clark and also spent years at Ranger Tire. He was known as Mr. Gadget for all of his toys. He was inventive and could fix things in a pinch by improvising, using branches and anything laying around, until he could get the right parts. He also had passion for Hockey, Camping, Fishing and Hunting. He will definitely be missed.
We would like to thank the staff at the cancer clinic at the Thunder Bay Reginal Hospital and also the St.Joe's Hospital Hospice Unit for taking such good care of him during these hard times.

A celebration of life will be held in Thunder Bay in the New Year.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Simpler Times Cremation Centre, 332 North May Street, Thunder Bay
