Obituary for Mr. Bernard Alfred "Berny" Perrier

Mr. Bernard Alfred "Berny" Perrier
It is with great sadness that Debby, Dawson and Jenny announce the passing of Bernard “Berny” Perrier, our Father and Grandfather in Pioneer Ridge on Sunday morning, November 5, 2017 at the age of 89. Berny passed away peacefully into the welcoming arms of his wife, Lavina (2015) and son, Berny (1974).

Berny was devoted to his family and spent most of his free time caring for them, as they were so very important to him. Berny may not have been formally educated, but he was a builder extraordinaire. With love and meticulous attention to detail, he created beautiful homes for his family, that truly was his life's enjoyment. His comradery with his granddaughter Dawson brought him even more joy.

Left to mourn are his daughter Debrah Calvert and granddaughter Dawson Calvert (Jennifer Thorne).

The family would like to thank the loving and caring staff of Pioneer Ridge, especially Plaza 1 for their thoughtfulness and gentle care of Dad.

Funeral services for the late Mr. Bernard Perrier will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, November 10, 2017 in the EVEREST FUNERAL CHAPEL, 299 Waverley Street at Algoma. Interment will follow in Mountainview Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday evening from 6:00 until 7:30 pm in the Everest Funeral Chapel.

If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
