Obituary for Margaret Morag McClymont (Watson)

McCLYMONT

Margaret Morag McClymont (Ma, Gran, Grano), age 92 years, passed away
peacefully on Friday, September 29 2017.

Margaret was born August 8, 1925 in Ochiltree, Ayrshire, Scotland to William
and Margaret Watson. She married to Ferguson McClymont March 29, 1948 and
together they immigrated to Canada in 1956 with their daughter Anne. They
settled in South Porcupine,ON. Margaret and her family would move several
more times over the years as Fergie was a miner and they "had to go where
the work was". Many years were spent living in Yellowknife, NT where
Margaret was employed at Stanton Yellowknife Hospital as a seamstress. She
was an integral part of bringing the union into Stanton. Ironically, after
successfully installing the union, Margaret became the Department Head for
the Housekeeping/Laundry Department. She would continue in this position
until her retirement in 1989.

Margaret was deeply loved and will be missed by her daughters, Anne
McClymont (Don) and Joan Mercier (George); grandchildren, Janice Boggiss
(Mark), Sarah Shaughnessy, Gillian LeMouel and Scott Shaughnessy (Alana);
great grandchildren Alex and Andrew Osadic and their father Scott Osadic,
Griffin and Carson Boggiss, Austin and Stella Shaughnessy and Gavin Nelson.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband of 52 years Fergie and
siblings Nancy Drake (David), Donald Watson (Mary) and Jenny Hodge (Andrew).

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff of
Hogarth Riverview Manor, Lily Ward for their outstanding care and
compassion. They work above and beyond their duties. We were truly blessed
to have these people care for our Ma. We will always remember you. Thank you
also to the Walford Retirement Home.

A Memorial Service for Mrs. Margaret McClymont will be held at 11:00 A.M on
Thursday October 5, 2017 at Calvin Presbyterian Church 350 Surrey Street,
Thunder Bay Ontario. If friends so desire donations may be made to Autism
Ontario, Thunder Bay Chapter.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Simpler Times Cremation Centre, 332

See you later Ma.
