LAFROY


It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Mother, Faith Sharon LaFroy (nee Donohue) at the age of 73. Mom passed away peacefully on Tuesday September 26, 2017 in the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Center with her family by her side.


Faith was born on October 18, 1943 in Port Arthur, Ontario.


She was a loving Mother who will be greatly missed by her sons Daniel, Robert (Heather), and daughter Melanie (Robert Pailing); grandchildren Samantha and R.J. LaFroy, and Jason (Kaylah) and Bradley Pailing; brothers Bill, Pat, Mike and Shawn (Spice) Donohue as well as several nieces and nephews.


Faith will now be reunited with her husband Louis, son David and sister Hope.


We would like to give special thanks to the Doctors and Nurses on Floor 1A at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Center for their care and support for our family.

Funeral Services for the late Faith LaFroy will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 with family and friends gathering in Our Lady of Loretto Roman Catholic Church, 290 Grenville Avenue, for the Funeral Mass at 11:00am. Cremation has taken place and interment will follow at a later date.


Arrangements have been entrusted to Simpler Times Cremation Centre, 332 North May Street, Thunder Bay.
