Condolence: Sincere Condolences. I spent a considerable if not the majority portion of my youth both at Mr. Maenpaa's home and camp on dog lake. He was very generous and kind. Getting rides out every weekend, swimming, cutting and stacking wood as a young man should, in the sauna at "proper Finnish temperatures", learning about Finland and the Finnish culture, and even learning a little Finnish. Mr. Maenpaa challenged his children to be the best, and always be a learner of new things and experiment, with the mission to "make men" out of boys of his son Tim and I. I am very grateful of the many years Mr Maenpaa was able to have influence on my youth and growing up. He will always be remembered.
