Mr. Gordon Kenneth Delong, age 61 years, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at his camp, which is where he wanted to be.

Gordon was born on October 18, 1955. He grew up in Westfort and graduated from Selkirk High School. He was employed by Great Lakes Paper, where he spent 25 years, mostly in the “Stores” department. After his retirement, Gordon travelled the world. He loved his time spent in Jamaica and out at Windigoostaguan Lake.

Gordon is survived by his sons, Jeremy and Damon Delong. He was predeceased by his parents, Keith and Lillian (nee Savala) Delong as well as his brother, Kenny in 1954.

A Celebration of Gordon's Life will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 4:00pm at the Wayland Hotel. Arrangements have been entrusted to the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James.
