Mr. Gunnar Hult, age 68 years, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 in Hogarth Riverview Manor.

Gunnar was born and raised in Searchmont and later made Thunder Bay his home. He loved fishing, hunting and driving truck. He was a family man and was very proud of all of them.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Linda; children Lee (Patti) Hult, David (Sherry) Hult, Terri-Lynn (Mike) Randell, Desiree (Tommy) King, Ashley (Chris) Carter, Bradley (Charmain) Marshall and Joyce (Rick) Cordone; 18 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sisters Elna Laforge, Sam Hagmeister, Kristin (Bob) Smylie; brother Karl (Helvi) Hult and Barb (Merv) Halligan. Many nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Predeceased by his parents, Leander (Sandy) Hult and Marguerite Rousseau; siblings Margaret, Ingrid, Jim (Val), Donny (Cathy) and Roger. Gunnar is now reunited with his grandson and hunting partner Dylan, they will hunt together forever.

Funeral Services for the late Mr. Gunnar Hult will be held in Sault Ste. Marie at a later date.
