Obituary for Tammy Meredith Melody Keeash

TAMMY MEREDITH MELODY KEEASH
October 16, 1999 – May 7, 2017

It is with deep regret and sadness that the family of Tammy Meredith Melody Keeash announce her passing on May 7, 2017 in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Tammy was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on October 16, 1999. She loved playing her guitar, drawing art and was a “progressive professional gamer in her room”. Tammy was raised in Weagamow Lake, Ontario.

She leaves behind her mother, Pearl Slipperjack; father, Randy Slipperjack; step-father, David Shawinimash and siblings Gordon, Precious, Chloe, and Katie. Also left to mourn is her grandmother, Bella Benson and great-grandmother Marion Keeash. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in Weagamow Lake, Fort Hope, Dryden, Thunder Bay and Sioux Lookout also survive. She will be loved and missed by many.

She was predeceased by her siblings Miracle and Leonidis Slipperjack; uncle Herbert Keeash, grandfather Sandy Benson, grandparents Allan and Jane Slipperjack and great-grandfather Josiah Keeash.

Visitation for family and friends will be held in Thunder Bay, on Monday, May 15, 2017 in the EVEREST FUNERAL CHAPEL, 299 Waverley Street at Algoma from 10:00am until noon.

Funeral services for the late Tammy Keeash will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 1:00pm in New Life Church, Weagamow Lake First Nation. Interment will take place in Weagamow Lake Cemetery.
