Mr. John Leslie "Les"  Henderson
HENDERSON

(John) Leslie Henderson, age 59, passed away on Tuesday April 25, 2017 in St. Joseph’s Hospice with his loving wife Tina by his side.

Les was born in Fort William on February 24, 1958. Les grew up enjoying hunting and fishing in the South Gillies area and later enjoyed living in Gillies where he could be more connected to nature and his spirituality. Les was well known as a musician and supporter of up and coming artists through his creation and sponsorship of Thunder Bay Song Writer contest. A creative person; Les enjoyed painting, photography, carpentry, songwriting and recording music.

Les was predeceased by his parents, Orian and Eileen. He is survived by his wife Tina Gibson, step children Amber (Bryan Brown), Jasmine and Jesse; grandchildren Bethany, Isabelle and Jackson. He is also survived by his siblings Sharon (Lauren Hoen), Ken (Mary), Carol, Elaine and Scott (Kathleen Lynch) and many nieces and nephews as well as his four furry friends Simon, Ruby, Ellie and Lil Kitty.

Thank you to his good friend Ed Sajna, Drs. Simpson and Davis as well as the staff on 4N at SJH.

As per Les’ wish, there will be no service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Simpler Times Cremation Centre, 332 North May Street, Thunder Bay.
