The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Mr. Livio Bandiera can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: What a gentleman he was! Our Nonno was always such a truly loving and caring man. Always so delighted to visit with all three of us - right up to our very last visit, in this life at least... Our son, also his great-grandson, John-Michel Gratton-Jacques, was always so eager to share a smile and a snuggle with him, right from their very first visit! Often times, Brian would be working many days in a row, and Jenn would ensure John-Michel was enjoying plenty of time in his great-Nonna and great-Nonno's company - listening to Nonna's stories about their past experiences, looking at pictures together, enjoying their reactions, trying on our new pairs of homemade slippers, and always taking more pictures with them! So many deeply cherished visits, that we will forever be thankful for! We all miss you dearly Nonno, until we meet again.

~Rest in Peace~

Condolence: To Ileana and family, our condolences on your loss. Livio was a wonderful man, steadfast in his sincere desire to advance the lives of his fellow workers and their families; an honest dedicated person whose life was an example to all of us. Our time together at Local 607 was important and Livio demonstrated how solidarity and honest work could benefit all our members. I also fondly remember his friendship and humour at work and his and your welcoming during my visits at your home.

Condolence: Livio and family were the first neighbours when my family and I moved to Thunder Bay. Livio was a great neighbour who always greeted you with a smile, kindness and a helping hand. He was a great example of a family man and raised wonderful children. I have wonderful memories of our times together. May the peace which comes from the memories of love shared comfort you.
My thoughts and prayers are with all.
~Glynn Pedersen
