Obituary for Mr. Jack Boucher
It is with great sadness, that we announce the passing of Jack Vincent Boucher, age 83 years, on Saturday, August 4, 2012 in St. Joseph's Hospital.
Jack was born in Savanne, Ontario on July 1, 1929. He started working for the railroad at the young age of 14. Later, he developed many skills and learned about various machinery while working for Abitibi Paper as an oiler and drag line operator. Jack retired in 1994 from Great Lakes Paper as a loader operator.
He married the love of his life, Margaret, in 1964 and together they raised 8 children. Jack was an avid outdoorsman, spending most of his time in Raith trapping, hunting and fishing. He had an incredible sense of humour and a gift for telling jokes. His charm, great personality and love for his family will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Jack is survived by his daughters Eileen, Jackie, Nancy and Merna; sons Eddie (Cam) and Gordie (Sandy); brothers Bill and William; sisters Anne, Margaret, Evelyn, and Annabelle. Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
He was predeceased by his wife Margaret, daughter Jane, son Roy, brothers William and Fraser and grandchildren Robyn, Roy, Stella and Ramsey.

Funeral Services for the late Mr. Jack Boucher will be held on Friday, August 10, 2012 at 1:30PM in the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James. Interment will follow in Mountainview Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00PM until 8:00PM in the Westfort Chapel.
Should friends so desire, donations made in memory of Jack to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
